Easy moist old fashioned pumpkin bars with maple cream cheese frosting

- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup oil canola or vegetable
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 `tsp maple flavoring
Maple Cream Cheese Frosting
- 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 1 tsp maple flavoring
- 4 cups powdered sugar
Maple Cream Cheese Frosting
Add the room temperature cream cheese and the softened butter into a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Add the maple flavoring and mix well. With the mixer on med low speed, slowly add the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each cup. Spread the frosting over the cooled pumpkin bars. Store bars in the fridge or freeze for up to 6 months in a freezer proof container.
